Will not start after driving with a check engine light on and a blinking odometer?

I was away on a work trip and when I got back to my car yesterday it was not working. It was a 3-day trip. I got it jump started and since then, my check engine light has been on, and my odometer has been blinking. I have never even heard of blinking odometers before. What do you think is causing this?

It sounds like the IPC has gone out, but to be sure let's do a CAN scan which is easy to do. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) from Amazon.

Here is how to change the IPC out and you can get a rebuilt unit by searching Google or eBay. Have your VIN # ready. Also start by disconnecting the battery to disable the SRS system (airbag) Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
