I have been having a problem with my ac blowing cold from both driver side vents and just the center vent for the passanger. And in the afternoons in the heat the ac can randomly go from cold to straight heat. Is this a blender problem or multiple problems?

If the heater is coming on this would be a blend door problem. Here is the location of the blend door actuator on the drivers side which it sounds like you are having the issue with. If I am wrong please let me know. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thank you for the response. And for the most part the drive side and center passenger vent blows cold. The passenger door side vent blows warm air. And sometimes the ac will be blowing cold on the other vents and then switch to heat. I don’t know if it’s a summer temperature thing since I’m in Texas or can the blender actuators randomly switch to heat?

Hmm, not really, it should not turn the heat, but can you tell if the AC stops working and this is why it gets hot or if the HVAC system turns the heater on? Here is the location of the passenger side blend door actuator. You will need to remove the glovebox. Check out the images (below).

I can’t tell if it stops or switches to heater. It has only happened in the afternoons during the summer time. Awesome thank you for the picture. I am gonna try replacing the actuator this weekend hopefully and see if it helps.

Hello so I replaced the actuator and the far passenger vent is still blowing warm air while the center dash vent is blowing cold air. I’ve checked it on both dual and individual ac temps and it’s the same. What else could it be?

If you replaced the actuators let try rebooting the system so it can recalibrate. This guide will show you how.
