I am bleeding the brakes. The system got contaminated so drained the system of all fluid and have added clean brake fluid. I have bled the brakes with the engine running. They were fine and were holding well, got to have new brakes

Hello,

There is no set mileage or KM to replace brakes as they wear out differently for every vehicle on on the road depending on numerous factors such as people are all different in their braking styles? brakes should be checked for wear on every service interval and replaced when needed.

I hope the links and diagrams below assist in your repair and please do not hesitate to contact us for any more information or assistance.

I have included an instruction guide and diagram for rear shoe replacement as your vehicle could be fitted with either type on the rear.

Thanks for using 2CarPros.
