Blazer does not run in reverse

I have a chevrolet s10 blazer that does not run in reverse. How do I get this problem fixed and how much will it cost. And if I can not get it fixed then would it still be ok to drive if I just dont go in reverse? Im not sure what the repair topic is.

We don't get involved with costs here because there's way too many variables. We don't even know what is causing the problem. You need to have the transmission diagnosed at a transmission shop. They will be able to give you an estimate for the repairs.
