Beep on my dash and cuts out

I was driving and the car started to beep on the dash. This morning I was driving and when I stopped the car it cut out. Twice I turned on my car and the battery light was on. When I shut the car down and then restarted it the light went off.

This is a bit hard to say with out actually seeing the problem first hand, but I would start with a code scan to see if any fault codes are set. Can you also advise the VIN number as there are three different variants in the two liter model?

Yes, I will get the alternator, battery, starter checked this weekend first. If good I will have it scanned.
