BCM and passlock?

I am not seeing the BCM or VTD modules with my scan tool and the truck will start but immediately die and have the code p1626 for fuel delivery shutoff due to pass lock. How to troubleshoot? And what is the location of BCM? I have the 2000 3500 old body style.

I would check the SECURITY and GAUGES fuses with the key on, this guide can help:

If all fuses are okay, I have seen the pass lock module at the key go bad, here is how to replace it. Also, check the ground for the module which is the blk/wht wire which is at the right top of the cylinder head.

P1626 - Theft Deterrent Fuel Enable Signal Not Received

I assume the security light is flashing? If so, you can try swapping the module out. Here are the wiring diagrams for the security system so you can see how it works. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
