I have something draining the battery. When I got the vehicle they had put a kill switch in to disconnect the battery I have removed that. After it is charged it will last about four days and then be completely dead. Battery is good alternator is good, alarm seems to work just fine. But I can't figure this out. Please help.

Hi Jeepers,

You need to perform what is called an ignition off draw (IOD) test or parasitic draw test.

Here is a video that shows how to do this very well. Just a helpful tip, when you remove the negative cable use a pair of vice grips around the negative battery post and then clip or secure your meter lead to the vice grips. They sell tools for this but vice grips work just as well. He uses a couple of different types of clamps so whatever works easiest for you.

Unfortunately, there isn't one thing that causes this. This test is the only and best way to figure out what your issue is. Once you find the circuit, I can help get you wiring diagram if you don't have it.

Please let me know what you find.
