My vehicle runs real hot in traffic and the A/C won’t cool until the car moves. I can stop the fan easily with a glove on and hold it still with little or no resistance. How can I be sure it’s bad? I checked the fuse and relay.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Are you referring to an electric or mechanical style fan on your vehicle? Thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hi Danny, my vehicle listed above has an electronic fan clutch and I can stop the fan easily with my hand. I don't think it is moving much air. How can I be sure if its good or bad?I think I need to replace it but not 100% sure it is bad. Thanks, Craig

Hello again.

Yes, sounds like the electronic fan clutch is faulty. I've attached three pictures below as a step-by-step on how to remove and replace. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
