Car has been burning oil have to put at least 1 quart about every 2 weeks it get sluggish when it gets low. Just added 2 quarts started to run fine but when I got off the highway (about 5 miles) engine light started to blink car, started to get sluggish and blue smoke started coming out of the exhaust. Then shut off started back up and got the car home (about 1/2 mile) is it my engine gone bad?
Thank you

More than likely this is a failed engine. However, a few tests will tell us for sure.

Let's start with a compression check. I suspect the rings are gone but this should be the first sign. If the compression is no good then we will need an engine.
