Possible bad catalytic converter

When driving my acceleration can be very sluggish, my RPMs will randomly jump about 500 up and down as driving, plugs and coils have been replaced. If I hit 2,500 RPMs my vehicle instantly starts jerking and misfiring, it sounds like there is a clicking sound coming from the inside of it.

This could be a converter issue along with a couple of other things. Normally a plugged converter would not cause jerking, but we can't rule out multiple issues so let's start with checking the converter using these guides:

Next, we need to check the transmission fluid level and condition and make sure it is not low.

Once we know what these things are then we can go from there but let's start with this, so we are not jumping around too much.

Sounds good. Thanks for the update. If these things check out, then we can move on, but we would need to start with fuel pressure.

Sluggish is one thing but when you add jumping RPM that sounds more like a fuel issue so once you cross the exhaust off, jump on the pressure. However, start with the exhaust just to be sure we can move on.
