My truck runs great all the time but only when I reach sixty miles and take my foot off the gas creates a compression while shifts gears and when I step on the gas makes the back fire noise.

Good evening,

Are there any codes set for the engine control system?

This usually happens when spark happens at the wrong time.

I’m sure the timing is right since it drives without any missing at all. I’ll get my mechanic to check the compression. It’ll be until the weekend since that’s the only truck I have for work. Thank you for the info.
