Hello,

My battery just died. It's interstate 5 year warranty. But my cars over one ton, so it voids the warranty. I could get an Autocraft silver at 660 CCA, autocrat gold at 800 CCA, or a Duracell at 600 CCA.
I know Duracell is the better name brand, but does the higher CCA give the Autocraft any advantage here?

Do you recommend any battery I didn't mention, that can compete in the $100.00 to $150.00 range?

Thank you

That Interstate should be covered. The one ton they refer to isn't the weight of the vehicle it is if you have a one ton rated truck like a GM or Dodge 3500 or a Ford F350. Your Liberty is just a passenger vehicle. I would look into that first. You need to go by the purchase date or install date if known.

Beyond that I wouldn't bother much with what brand it is as many "brands" are owned and made by different makers. Instead track down who actually made the battery.
For that visit the stores website and look at the battery warranty or MSDS sheets.
For instance Advance batteries are primarily made by Johnson Controls. While their O'Rielly division uses East Penn.

The batteries I generally install are NAPA Legend Premium. They are made by East Penn These are the same maker as O'Rielly gets the Super Start Extreme (Legend Premium) and Premium (Professional) from, they just don't have a local store.

As for CCA ratings, I try to stuff the highest rating I can in the box. That way when you go out and it's 15 below the battery still has plenty left to start the engine. Plus the higher ratings usually have a better warranty.

Good to know, thank you so much! I bought the Jeep itself in May 2018, they told me it was a "new battery". Today I learned the dating method, that F16 means June 2016, if Im correct. So just need to double check my model, because it says 5 year warranty but depending on the model, it drops to 45% and 25% off in the last two years of the warranty.

Definitely going to contact them, thank you!
