Was at a stop sign and lost all forward gears any ideas what that could be? I have the transmission out and the vent hose on top has a hole in it could that be the reason it has no forward gears? It drives in reverse and before this happened there was no signs of any problems.

Hole in a vent line won't make a difference, it's a vent that should be open anyway.

Would it still move if you shifted it manually or did you only test it in drive?
It could be a simple solenoid replacement or bad electrical connection. Or it could be mechanical failure internally. If the trans is already out it won't be possible to do any diagnostics as you need the PCM in the vehicle to connect to the electronics while the engine runs and you test the operation using a scan tool.

Codes wouldn't be visible to anything but a high end scan tool. With it in you can activate the various solenoids and run tests.

But as it didn't do anything I would suspect the forward clutch. But it's a gamble.
