2005 Audi A4 Gear box

Good day. The car sometimes has trouble going in to first gear when you pull away and you have to use some force to get it in to first gear. I took the car to a Audi centre to fix the problem, and at first they said they`ll have to replace the gear box, then they changed their minds and replaced the clutch plate and the “fly wheel". When I got my car back, it still had the same problem, I would just like to have a second opinion as to what to do as I don`t know much about cars. Is it the gear box, and do I need to replace it?

Does it go into gear easily with engine off? if yes start in first gear does car lurch forward? may have problem in hydraulic clutch
