Transmission problem
1999 Audi A4 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 125k miles

I just bought a A4 with the "transmission out" before I rip the transmission out to put another in it is there anything I should check that could be a fixable problem (checked fluid level and shift cable operation. No burn smell of fluid. Transmission makes no noise or effort to move. Thanks Ken

Hi there,

I would first do a scan and see if there are any fault codes.
