My oil light keeps coming on but the oil pressure is ok. And when I drive it every 20 seconds or so it makes a noise a noise that's about a second long. Do you know what it may be?

Does the sound you hear sound like almost like a baby rattle or some kind of light ratte? Also, how did you check oil pressure?

My cousin owns a gas station he checked the oil and said it was fine. But he has no idea what's wring with it. It could sound like that but with metal in it. And it's very fain and it seems to make the noise more when I just finished shifting gears 1st 2nd and 3rd. But does it as well when I'm driving.

Ok, so this is likely problem you are having. You are losing oil pressure at certain rpm's. You have to drop the oil pan and check the oil pickup. You will most likely have debris in the pickup. I recommend cleaning that and maybe replacing the oil pump. The rattling noise you hear is the camshafter tensioner on the back off the engine. This will have to be replaced also. These are both kind of involved jobs and if you don't know what you are doing then I would recommend you not doing it. HTH.

Thank you very much. Do you think it's safe to drive until I replace them. The oil light doesn't always come on. I drive to work and back only.

I wouldn't advise it. Don't know what problems will occur if it is not fixed.
