2001 Audi A4 Instrument Panel LED Cluster

The center section of my instrument panel cluster has become illegible. The left and right sides are fine. The Dealer tells me that its all one panel and the part cost is $1200 plus labor (@$140.00/hr). Do I have an alternative? Other than not making the repair? Thanks, john

Hi John,

If you don't need the reading, then no repair/replacement is necessary.

Sometimes loose connections will cause the problem so if you can remove the meter cluster, do so and try to check for problems with the circuit board.
