So I was putting oil in my vehicle because I was running low. But the gallon was mixed with the antifreeze gallon and I accidentally put some antifreeze in my engine. It was very little, but I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on what to do?

Welcome to 2CarPros. First thing, do not start the engine. At the moment the antifreeze should be in a pool at the lowest point of the oil pan. So step one will be to drain the oil. Next would be to pour a quart of oil in with the drain plug out. Collect that oil in a glass jar and see if it's just oil or if some anti-freeze comes out as well. If it's clean. Refill with some cheap oil and start the engine. Let it run until it's warm. Then do another oil and filter change. That should clean out any coolant that might have stayed on any flat surfaces. Then dispose of any of the mixed oil mess. Why does the Jeep keep getting low on oil? Burning it or leaking?

Hello,

I would do an oil change on your vehicle. The engine oil is designed to provide a thin layer of ultra slippery oil for the bearings and moving parts to be lubricated as the engine runs. Anything that breaks down the viscosity of the oil is endangering serious failure of your vehicle's engine. I have included a link for you to go to below.

Please go through this guide and get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
