Truck was turning over but not firing or getting fuel. Assumed it was anti theft. Tried a reset trick, now it will not crank. Also, anti theft light is blinking fast. Let me add. The anti theft light was flashing fast before trying anything. I do not have a second key. The "trick" was door open, ignition on, disconnect and reconnect the battery. Something I saw online. So, that is the only option? Is it possible that certain shops may have the scan tool? Or dealer only?

I would try a hard system reboot this is done by removing the negative battery cable from the battery and holding it to the positive battery terminal for 1 minute this will discharge the system capacitors. Let me know how it goes.
