AM2 fuse keeps blowing

I tried to jump start a lady in the rain, with no luck. I pulled out and made it half a mile down the road. My car shut off. My am2 fuse had blown. I have unplugged the coil packs, unhooked the alternator and starter. One at a time and still blew the fuse when I tried to start it. I replaced the ignition switch yesterday, but still the same. I have traced all the wires the best I can and can not find a bad spot in any of them. Any ideas?

Test the injectors for a shorted one or more. They are the only item directly fed from that fuse. The other circuits it feeds are fused at a much lower amperage.

The injectors? Okay. That is one I have not tried. Can I unplug them and test that way, or will I need someone with a meter?

Stick a test light in place of the fuse, then pull the connectors one at a time. The light should come on bright and dim a lot or go out once you pull the shorted injector connection.

I spent hours going over wires, over and over. Had four people come look at the car, two "knew" what they were doing. No luck. The second injector I unplugged, the car started right up. I can't thank you enough. You Mr Steve are a life saver and damn sure an Expert.
