So the car started but as I was backing up it died. Tried starting it again, it turned over after about 7 seconds. Pulled out of the driveway it died again. When I turn the key it makes the sound like it's going to start but it never turns over. My friend suggested it could be my igniter or the fuel pump. Any suggestions? Thanks

1st check to see if you have spark. If not the problem is more than likely the EFI relay which is located up under the dash about where you knee would be for left hand drive cars.

The igniters are bullet proof but the relay is a high failure item.

It is a large black metal relay located high up in the dash. It is bolted in by a 10mm bolt. Dealer only item. Good luck
