1994 Questions for all other cars Manual 218000 miles

Hi! When I tried to jump my car with my jumpstart kit, I accidentally put my negative clamp to painted metal part of the car and try to jump it. So now my car dosent even try to start, when I turn the key. It just make CLICK sound, and nothing else. Fuses are OK. Could it just be empty battery? Or did I broke something, with my thoughtless actions. Thanks.
