I am having starting problems. The mechanic change inigition but the still won't turn over. We put gas in the carb and no luck. I can't seem to correct this?
is there a simple reason? Like blown fuse or fuel filter stopped up.
Fuel pump is ok, the motor just keeps turning over and will not start
thanks

Look for spark-last major tune-up? Could be a coil, ignition fuse, distributor pick-up and ignitor.

It sounds like ignition problem-it should be able to combust when you prime it.

Things to check

1. Confirm power to the coil and ignitor, the coil primary and secondary resistances

2. Check the pick-ups and signal generator gaps in the distributor

NOTE: If the computer don't see the Ne and G signals from the distributor, it will not give the Igt signal from the trigger circuit in the computer to the ignitor to fire the coil-therefore no spark will occur.

Toys got some weird ignition system set up. I get confuse sometimes whether it would be a ESA/VAST etc.

Is the ignition fuse okay?

Hope this helps -Good Luck
