Ranger was not building any temperature so I replaced temp sensor which did not help then I replaced the thermostat. Now I am building temp but it runs all the way up to the high end of normal and never seems to open the thermostat.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

It sounds like you have a faulty thermostat. It is probably worth it to put another one in because its temperature controlled, and if it is getting that hot, the thermostat has to be bad.

Was leaning that way just pulled it out and put it in an old pot with water and a digital thermometer and watch to see what temp it opened. Temp was right 199 deg F which is what the manual called for.

The only other thing I can think of is the water pump is worn out and not circulating properly. Try this grab the pump pully and shake it. It should not move.
