1997 Grand Prix GTP Stalling

I just had a new exhaust installed today. While pulling out of the shop my gas gauge buried past full when I know there was very little gas in the tank. The car drove fine for the first five miles home and then began to stall. I thought I may have run out of gas but after filling the tank I still can not get it to run. Could the welding torch have done something or is the fuel filter just clogged? I think I can hear the fuel pump working.

Any help out there. It starts everytime but stalls within 10 seconds
