1997 Contour 4 cyl idle/stall

Sons first car. Engine light on seems to have stumped repair guys. Symptom idle drops down low and creates engine vibration and or stall. Im sure there must be a number of people with this issue so im hoping to go armed with someones best guesses. I believe they have replaced o2 sensors before, etc. I realize the code should signify but apparantly it must be something beyond that or not so wise mechanics. Please help soon. Thank You. DW

Have them give you the code numbers. They have an unfair advantage over anyone giving you help. From there we can render suggestions. You can buy a code reader for as little as $30 or less and they work very well on any car from 1996 on up to todays cars. Any car or truck.
