1994 Concorde RUNS HORRIBLE AFTER CAR WASH OR HEAVY RAIN!

94' chrylser concorde, 127k miles.

I cant seem to find out why it runs like it's about to die, with misfires and backfiring into the air-filter box. Happens only when it rains heavy and immediately after a washing. Getting all sorts of bad info on repair. She runs fine after about a day or so after some dry weather.

Sounds like sparkpulg wires. If you haven't replaced them since you bought the car it's time. They are the cheapest place to start. Do not try any type of spray for water proffing, it doesn't work.

The plugs and wires are new, less than a year old. I maintain this car as best possible. I was also told that it could be a ground wire issue.
