1990 Cougar LS V6 3.8; Dash Light Panel and Radio

Did you find out what it was? I just had the same exact problem, and would appreciate any info you recieved. I wondered if it was a problem somehow with the ground wire because the dash and radio are on different fuses. I am basicly clueless when it comes to electrical stuff.

Im having the same problem with mine. It has the JBL premium sound but the main cassette deck was removed before I got it. And the digital dash didnt work. All anyone told me was that if the stereo was removed it was cause the dash not to work, but Ive looked through Chilton manuals and Haynes manuals wiring diagrams and really dont see how that could be possible. I woulld like to know as well and would appreciate any info. Thanx!
