Hello, at first my car just turned off I checked it and it was the main relay. I changed it and my dash light. Stay on and wont go away when I turn on the car. When I drive the car they flicker or some turn off and the rest stay on. Also my battery drains out. Why? How can I fix this problem?

Hello, thank you for using 2CarPros. I am sorry you are having issues with your car. Let me see if we can resolve this.

It sounds like you have a short somewhere in your wiring which tripped your breaker. The right bump in the road may do it again. It sounds like it is momentarily grounding out as you drive, thus the lights flickering as well as draining the battery.

To resolve this issue you will need a multi meter that has an ammeter built into it. You need to disconnect the positive battery terminal and put the ammeter between the cable and the battery. With the key off this will show you how much current is being drawn off the battery when the car is off. You then need to pull one fuse at a time until you find all the circuits that are drawing power. The one with the biggest draw will be the circuit with your issue.

You then need to trace that circuit until you find where the wire is grounding out.

I hope this help. Once you find the circuit please come back and let us know and we can provide a wiring diagram for you to aid trouble shooting.

Thanks, Rich
