Does a used replacement ignition cylinder, key with transponder and ECM need to be programmed

Lost all keys to car. So have used ignition cylinder, key with transponder and ECM. When I install this will it fix my car anything special needed to do to erase or program.

Good morning,

The ECM will need to be programmed along with the key.

I would have just left the old ECM installed and replace the key and switch. Then you could have had a locksmith come to you and program the key to the car.

It will be cheaper than flashing your ECM to your VIN and programming the key.
