All three brake lights are not functioning. I have replaced the brake light switch and all of the fuses tested to show they are functional. I don't know what the next step should be.

Hi John,

Sounds like the only thing left that can affect all three brake lights is wiring. It is safe to say you don't have voltage at the three bulbs so the idea is to find where you do have voltage and at that point forward is your issue. I would suggest going to the brake switch to start and depress the brake pedal and see if you have voltage coming out on the green wire. If you do, go to the junction connector and see if you have anything coming out of the green wire (pin 9) and blue wire. These are your feed wires to the bulbs. I suspect this connector is your issue.

Do you have any other lights on? ABS or traction control?

Let me know what you find and we can go from there.

Hello, I have the same issue as John. Fuses are okay, brake switch has power out of green cable. However, I cannot find the junction connector I see the diagram states behind the dash. Is there a photo or diagram that you can post to show where this connector is?

Airbag light is on. ECS Off and check engine light intermittent.

2007 Hyundai Sonata, v6 fwd. 187K miles.

Thank you,
-Alex

If these lights are on then you are probably correct that there is an issue with this connector. Looks like it is on the sheet metal or firewall on the right side behind the dash.

Here is the location view that should help. Let us know if you still can't find it and we can get more info. Thanks
