Airbag and battery light coming on and after few minutes car shuts down

Alternator cable off batterie should car shut off? Cause car isn't shutting off.
batterie light and airbag light coming on and car starts but then shut down, (but not the alternator) can drive until airbag light comes on once that comes on my car starts shutting down with lights, wipers, blinkers ect then breaks and gas pedal locks up

Good afternoon,

Never ever take a battery cable off while the engine is running. It tests nothing and you can damage modules from voltage surges.

The first thing you need to do is have the battery load tested to be sure it is good. Then the charging system needs to be checked to verify the proper voltage to the battery to maintain the charge. You need 14 to 14.5 volts from the alternator.
