HVAC air flow only works on the defrost setting?

The air flow is only coming out on defrost no matter what is selected on the control panel.

Hi,

Chances are the mode door actuator has failed. This actuator is responsible for the air flow direction. Take a look at this link:

What I would do is remove it and see if it responds when you change the air flow direction. If it doesn't, replace it.
