Air Conditioner works then stops then starts working again.

About 2 weeks ago, the air started to get warm coming out of the vents. The next day, the air was cold again and it ran fine for about week. Problem happened again driving as after 20 minutes of driving, the air got warm. Later that same day, about an hour or two later, I drove it and it was cold again. This has been happening more and more. Some days are fine, other days it starts to get warm. Thoughts?

Have the a/c shop to check for air/moisture in the system. If moisture exists it will freeze during compressor operation and block the flow of refrigerant. This could account for the fact that it cools for a while the air turns warm. This also would mean that the system is low on refrigerant.
