Air conditioner problem

I just bought this car limited model and the A/C is broken. I don't know how to tell if it still has an r12 system or a 134a system. I want to fix it myself but I don't know how to tell if it is or what to do.

Good morning,

You can tell by the fittings. Your year indicates it is a R12 system.

Does the compressor even engage? I would suggest getting a set of gauges for the R12 system and see if there is any pressure in the system.
