I have a 2004 5.3 and I installed a acesefi aftermarket intake and I’m not sure if I need to do anything about my map sensor since my old intake had one but this one doesn’t.

It needs the sensor to calculate the fuel flow based on the pressure and vacuum in the intake. You will need to figure out a way to mount it into the new intake unless you have added a custom tune that eliminates it. Most of the aftermarket intakes have ports where you can tap the vacuum the MAP needs.
