I recently had all four tires (Bridgestone Turanzas)replaced at a discount tire chain with Toyo Tires (Versado W speed rating). They did a quickie 4 wheel alignment also. I had no problem with the Brigestones and now I have a slight vibration in the steering wheel with the new tires. I then went to a better tire place and they said the balancing was off, so I paid to have them re-balanced. They are a little better but there is still a slight vibration (highway speeds at 60mph+), not when braking though. I am wondering if the discount tire chain broke something or if something just broke for some other reason in the suspension. I am guessing it could be that the tires are just that way but they are W speed rated and seem like a decent brand new tire. Thanks

Hi dmorganelli,

Thank you for the donation.

From the symptom description, I believe that the problem lies with the tires. Balancing had not been done correctly and I would suggest on wheel balancing if it had not been carried out.

The first shop is responsible for it as they sold you the tires and should have balanced it properly. You should have referred back to them when the problem was detected after taking back vehicle.

The second shop is not very professional :
1. They should have advised you to refer back to the first shop to get the problem solved.
2. They should have done the balancing correctly as they diagnosed it to be the problem. You should get back to them to demand they resolve the problem for you as they have recommended the balancing and you have already pad them.
