Ok my sister got into a small accident which affected the exhaust which is now very loud. After a while now the car struggles to turn on or turns off after you turned it on.

Hi tony-tl,

Are you able to restart the engine?
Does it stall only when slowing down or stopped?
Does depressing the acceleratoer slightly keep the engine running?

Yea I could turn it on several times but between those tries it seems to like choke or something but only on startup. She said it had turned of while driving but it yet had turned of on me.

Description of the symptoms are not sufficient to understand the problem so I hope you can elaborate more on it and provide as much details as possible.

If the Check Engine Lamp is indicating, you would need to retrieve the trouble codes to proceed with rectification.

Did problem start only after the accident?

It could be a fuel supply problem and a pressure test would help to find out if that is the cause.
