Check engine light read code P0740(torque convertor fault)?

Problem is that while moving I let off the gas to brake, when I press the gas again it doesn't catch for a while, and revs to about 2.5k rpms then eventually will catch

Check engine light read code P0740(torque convertor fault) Serviced the tranny according to factory specs. and performed suggested resistance test on the AT lock up solenoid. Normal range is 12-25 Ohms I got 33.1 should I replace the solenoid?

Has anyone had similar problems? Please let me know asap

Hello,

If the internal resistance is higher than the specification, it can trigger issues.
Sometimes you will have intermittent issues. So it appears that the solenoid is faulty.

The lockup solenoid is located on top of the manifold (see diagram).
There are three bolts that keeps the solenoid in place. Simply remove the screws to take out the item.
