I fixed my head gasket but my car is still overheating it has a new heater core but the heat wont work either I have to fill radiator at least once a week what is wrong?

Hi mjglegend,

Coolant losses can be due to the following :
1. Leakages, most likely area, hose joints, water pump, radiator.
2. Bad head gasket, cylinder head or block warpage.

If the reserve tank is also running dry, then somewhre is leaking and you should get a pressure test done.

If the radiator is running dry but reserve tank is overflowing, it could be a bad radiator cap, dislodged tube in reserve tank or item # 2 above.
