Hi, I have a very wide range of mechanical and electrical knowledge but have now faced my first stand still. I have a 1998 Acura Integra GS with the 1.8 DOHC engine. We had to take the condensor off so we could replace the radiator support on this car but now we have everything back together. The ac was vacuumed then charged we added a bit of oil and everything seems to be right but the compressor wont click on, on its own. The relay is good the relay socket is good the low pressure switch is good. Only thing I can think is that there is a bad ground somewhere. The compressor will click on and make very cold air in the car when you jump it at the relay socket. I also ohm'd out the compressor and seems like the coil isnt bad. Doesnt make noises or nothing compressor seems good to me. Think it might be the grounding routing to the ecm? Thanks so much.
