Driving down the interstate, felt a slight pop in the gas pedal, gas pedal went limp, car shut down, battery works fine, engine acts like it wants to start, but won't turn over and gas pedal won't "rev". HELP!

Hello,

I wonder if you might have a broken throttle cable or if it came off of the bracket.
If the throttle cable is broken, you will get no response when applying the pedal.

Inspect the throttle cable. Make sure it is connected and has not come loose.
It is possible that the adjuster got loose and needs to the re-adjusted.

The issue can also be the spring-loaded part that the cable attaches to on the throttle body.

I have attached the adjusting procedure and diagrams below.

Please let me know what you find.
Thank you.
