1993 Acura Integra Idle

Car starts fine. Fast idle while cold is ok. Car runs ok but when at the stop light with engine hot, idle becomes rough. Car runs ok. Only rough idle at stop and engine hot. Battery is new. WHAT SHOULD I CHECK? Thanks

Hi rustysz1,

When you say rough, is it hunting up and down?
Is the idle very low?

You need to check the throttle body and EACV and if it is hunting, you need to check the EACV coolant hoses for clogging.

Low coolant level would also cause the ptoblem.
Check if idle is adjusted too high.
