Engine has a rough Idle?

Sometimes it will start a rough idle. Up and down to where it almost dies. Then it clears itself up and is fine.A/c is not on at the time. New wires, plugs filters. We checked for vacuum leaks and cleaned the aic valve.
Only does this once in awhile. But it stops just as soon as it starts. Im thinking a sensor or elctrical part.

Hi larrym1845,

This could be caused by uneven compression due to minor leaks caused by valves. THis guide can help us fix it

I noticed the pcv valve was in two different parts.I replaced it and everything is fine now. Thanks.
