I replaced the actuator for the drivers side, the motor stopped working in the old one. Set it on cold and it seemed to work fine. But when I drove the truck, the actuator when from cold to hot and stayed there. When I restart the motor it goes back to cold for about two minutes and then to hot and stays there. I pulled the fuses and reset them but that did not help. I have restarted at least a dozen times and always the same thing. Got the actuator from Amazon, did I get a bad actuator or is there another sensor somewhere.

Did you follow the reset procedure once it was installed?
You did not try to test it prior to installing it did you?

Calibration procedure:

Clear all DTCs.
Place the ignition switch to the OFF position.
Install the HVAC actuator.
Connect all previously disconnected components.
Remove the HVAC/ECAS fuse for a minimum of ten seconds.
Install the HVAC/ECAS fuse.
Start the vehicle.
Wait forty seconds for the HVAC control module and actuators to self-calibrate.
Verify that no DTCs have set as current DTCs.
