Acceleration issue

My car will acceleration will be weak in the beginning of the start of a gear then return to normal. This is only happening noticeably in first gear.

Sounds as if there is a problem in the transmission, this should be inspected first hand by a transmission specialist. If you can, check the oil for condition it should be red and not smell burnt.
