When I press on the gas pedal, my acceleration isn't matching my RPMs. It takes awhile to get to 60 MPH even though my RPMs are above 2.5. There is no dashboard lighting.

It is somewhat similar to this video

Hello,

You might be having an issue with the CVT transmission.
Does this only happen when the outside temperature it hot and the vehicle has been running for a while?

There is a known issue for these vehicles, that that a transmission module limits power when it reaches certain temperature.

Let me know little bit more information.
Thank you.

It has been happening continuously for the past 2 days. I don't believe it's due to the weather or if the vehicle has been running because the problem is there before the engine is warmed up. The car has 57,000 miles and I live in NYC. The weather has been consistent.

Thank you.

This could be an issue with the CVT control cable or the control module.
The tricky part is that the vehicle is not showing any error codes (warning lights).
Nissan did have some recall for these CVT transmissions.
Do you know if that recall was performed?
If you are not sure just call your local dealer and provide them with the VIN and they can let you know.
