I replaced the compressor and vacuumed system down added Freon and now blows cold for only few seconds and then goes hot again. Any suggestions? And checked relay and fuse under dash.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros. Com.

I need to know some general information. When it starts to blow cold, is the compressor no longer engaging? Can you tell me both the high and low side pressures and outside temperatures when you check? One last question. If the compressor is cycling properly, did you check to make sure the blend air door is not closing and not allowing the cold air to come through?

Welcome back. I was not able to find an exact picture specific to your vehicle. However, here is a link that describes what it is, does, and in general how they are checked and replaced. The blend air door is located under the dash in the heater box.

Let me know if this helps.

Is there any way to check and make sure the actuator is bad? Does it sound like a expansion valve could be bad too?
