I am trying to get A/C going in my car. I know they sell the small pin that goes inside valve but if you look at pics it seems to be leaking from around the valve itself. Are they replaceable? Or do I have to get the entire line with valve on it?

Good morning,

The leak around the outside is from disconnecting the line. A small amount of Freon will leak out. You have dye in the freon and that is why it has the color.

After all the freon is recovered, you can remove both Schrader valves and replace the valves with a new one. Lube the rubbers on the valves with pag oil. That will prevent the seals from getting damaged.
