A/C not working

With the engine off the pressures were, low 78, high 90. With engine on, low 35 high 40.

Okay. Great. Thanks Tammye. I remember your other post so that is great that we have these pressures. If I remember correctly you said the compressor does not come on unless you jump 12 volts to it. If that is correct, I assume these pressures were taken with the engine running but the compressor was not on.

So if you can jump 12 volts to it and it works, plus the system is not overcharged (we know that from the pressures) then we need to check voltage at these three locations when the A/C is turned on.

Let me know what voltage is there and we can go from there. Thanks
